Paul Henderson had a game to forget as his North Queensland Fury side slumped to a 5-0 defeat at the hands of fellow new club Gold Coast United on Saturday 15 August 2009 in round 2 of the A-League.
Henderson played a full game at Skilled Park as former Halifax Town striker Shane Smeltz netted four times.
Mark Paston enjoyed a better outing the following day, however, with Wellington Phoenix winning 2-1 against Perth Glory after trailing to an early goal on Sunday 16 August 2009 at Westpac Stadium.
Paston, like Henderson, played a full game.
On the same day Paul Reid also played the full 90 minutes as his Adelaide United side lost 1-0 at Sydney FC at the Sydney Football Stadium.
