Adelaide United midfielder Paul Reid returned from injury as his side snatched a 3-3 draw at home to North Queensland Fury on Friday 28 August 2009 in round 4 of the A-League.
Reid was replaced in the 70th minute by Daniel Mullin with his side 2-1 up, but in a stunning turn-around two goals in the last 10 minutes gave North Queensland the lead.
Three minutes into injury-time however, Lucas Pantelis netted a penalty past Paul Henderson to snatch a draw.
Mark Paston missed out completely as Wellington Phoenix lost 2-0 to Sydney FC at the Sydney Football Stadium on Sunday 30 August 2009.
Paston stayed at home in Wellington to be with his wife for the birth of their first child, meaning Reece Crowther made his debut for the club.
In a twist, however, Phoenix assistant coach and goalkeeping mentor Jonathan Gould replaced Crowther on the bench, although the 41-year-old was an unused substitute.
